The presenter is expected to help raise funds for the event as well
as host the activities for the two-week celebration which starts from
Friday, October 17, to October 31.
Organised by UK based charity organisation, God’s Solution Centre
(GSC), in collaboration with events company, Let’s Vybe based in UK, the
event since its inception, has served as a platform to bring young
Africans both home and in the Diaspora to celebrate the African culture.
Some of the activities lined up for this year’s celebration include
the launch of a movie, Last Word, which features Jon Germain and his
Performers group, a “free style” party and a fund raising event to
support the charity works of GSC.
This is not the first time Jon Germain is working with events
company, Let’s Vybe. They established a working relationship last year
when Jon shot the video for his song, Still Here, in London.
The relationship, since then, has soared and it is not surprising
that he has been invited as a guest performer as well as the host at
this year’s Black History Month celebration.
This October is set to be another historic occasion for the Jon
Germain Performers and the hundreds of guests who are expected to attend
the event.
He has pledged to support the fundraising event by donating a number of CDs of his new album
