President Uhuru Kenyatta address UNGA on South Sudan
Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta at the United
Nations General Assembly for the leaders called on both sides of the conflict
in South Sudan to "demonstrate determined and enlightened leadership and
make peace without any delay.""The action will be of great help to the people of this nation enormous suffering and offer hope for a better future," president Kenyatta said.
President Uhuru Kenyatta also asked the international community to do more to help end the conflict in South Sudan which has affected the young nation.
“We cannot let this young nation and its people down," He said addressing the Head of States present.
"At this assembly, I make a special plea for South Sudan, for no nation has over the years suffered as much neglect from the international community," The president reiterated.
